pink and black leather

Hi all, how is everyone? Apologies for the million photos but my brain was not in editing mode so I posted them all.   Must be something to do with the belly that is well and truly bulging by now : )

Pink and black are one of my all time favourite colour combinations (and of course everything in between from 50 shades of grey to all the soft and dusty pinks under the rainbow).   Perfect  J Brand black leathers, some pumps and a simple black shirt is a great base to build your outfit.    Simplicity is key but layering is essential to make your look interesting so never be afraid to add, add, add!    I’m a bit of an adder as you all know…

A simple jewelled necklace by J Crew and this lovely marshmallowy pink Joie blazer worked well with the faux snakeskin clutch and an over sized Hunky Dory coat completes the look.

Big kisses to all xx

checks and leather

Okay, it has to be said straight up…how cool is this JOIE leather jacket?   I styled it back with these perforated leather track pants by Made by a Friend of Mine and some black leather Wittner loafers.    I just love how this check tank by Equipment has a thin blue neckline.   Sometimes a touch of colour is just what you need to lift your spirits!   Of course I couldn’t help but add this shirt around my waist to tie in the blue… Stylin’… xx

soft tones and over coats

An over-sized coat will be your staple this season and it seems camel should be your colour.   Haven’t seen camel show up in collections for many years but it’s refreshing and carries a regality and “old world” feeling to it that not too many tones possess.   That’s the beauty of fashion colours floating in and out, when they come around again you are pleasantly surprised and enjoy their return.

I received this gorgeous Lack of Colour fedora the other week and it’s just beautiful.   It’s made of a wool felt and fits like a glove.   A Lack of Color hat is a must this season girls and I strongly suggest the black Mirage!

golden hour

Just because Valentine’s Day is coming up and a touch of red makes me happy… In this case some Ella suede pumps by Kardashian Kollection and a Mini Affair bag by Rebecca Minkoff (minus the affair).   Teamed with this soft Enza Costa stripe tee and the staple One Teaspoon shorts, this little number screams “take me out lover!”

We caught the golden hour this particular day…never have time to shoot at this perfect time but it’s so lovely when you do.   Like the quote suggest, everything looks so lovely and “golden”.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and your Valentine spoils you.   If you don’t have one at the moment, they’re just around the corner I’m sure of it! ; )  xx

chunky knit

Hello all!   Hope everyone is doing well.   I’m working on lots of outfits at the moment for posting in the coming months… I have to say it’s definitely not as easy as throwing together whatever you like when you have a football slowly inflating in your tummy.   That being said, I’ve decided to go with it and embrace the belly.

A chunky knit is the perfect piece to add volume and texture, not to mention it’s belly hiding abilities (whether or not it’s a baby belly or an indulgent lunchtime meal).   Throw it together with some skinny leg jeans or in this case a leather pencil skirt and it balances the shape out well.   I’ve added a lilac/white/baby blue Joie plaid shirt around the waist for some depth with this Dolce & Gabbana pony hair pouch…(love the lilac plaid and leopard together). These Tony Bianco booties are becoming a regular and Celine sunglasses and simple Maison Martin Margiela rings complete the look.

See you in a few days xx
