ripped jeans, chunky knits

I was recently searching for the most ripped pair of jeans I could find, these THP ones certainly got my attention.   I love how they have tapered and zipped ankles, perfect for stuffing into a pair of boots.   Messy and effective.   The knit poncho is perfect for hiding the belly too, and it’s just starting to get a bit cooler now so I can throw it on whenever suits.   The ultimate piece!

You might be noticing that I’m posting a fair bit at the moment.   I have only 5 weeks to go before I have a Caesarean Section to deliver my second baby.   For those of you who are wondering…Yes, there is a legitimate medical reason for the Caesarean, I am definitely not too “posh to push” which is what I did with my first baby, Addison.   Obviously for a month or two after I have the surgery, I won’t be able to photograph posts for my blog so I am trying to get this seasons outfit choices up before I go into an induced “baby coma”.    So I’ll be having a little blogger-break and then back in full force for the season to follow!

Love to you all xx

spring stripes

The selection of Equipment shirts are endless.   If you ever want to add a pop of colour to your get up, just choose one of these babies and you are set to go.   The great thing about these shirts, is they are such a staple wardrobe piece at the moment.   So you could literally wear one everyday and change the look through their cut, colour or one of their ingenious prints.  I look at the rack of Equipment shirts before me and my mind twirls!

I just had to do it!   I know, I know…  The matchy matchy heels are a little predictable, but they were made for this stripey number and they have been sitting patiently in the wardrobe for months, awaiting an outing.   As for the denim, cut offs and an over sized boyfriend jacket complete the look nicely.   Now for a spot of lunch with the girls on this beautiful day!

baby shower

My mum and sister-in-law put on a beautiful baby shower for me on the weekend, it was such a lovely morning.   We had around 50 guests made up of family and my closest girlfriends, and to top it all off the weather was perfect with the morning sun gleaming off the ocean.   The theme was obviously blue (so excited!) which was perfect because I am LOVING blue right now.

Caxton Street did the catering and it was immaculate as usual.   For sweet, we had babmino macaroons, lemon curd flowers and baby cupcakes.   For savory, they served hermes petit finger sandwiches with thyme chicken confit, tasmanian salmon with caper mascarpone, salmon gravlax bilini and baked spinich and feta cigars.    We also had fresh blood orange and watermelon juice, sparkling water and of course lots of French champagne!

A layer of white and baby blue helium filled balloons settled on the ceiling and fresh white roses throughout the house topped it all off.   I was so spoilt receiving the most beautiful gifts.   Boys are definitely a different story to girls!

It wasn’t an ideal lead up to the day however.   Addie went down with a tummy bug the morning before and it was touch and go there for a while as to whether or not it would proceed.   Poor little darling was not well at all (she looks so pale in the photos) but we dosed her up and she got through it.   Needless to say, I am still up with her through the night so hoping tomorrow she will turn a corner.

How am I going to cope with two babies and still style my outfits each day??  Let’s wait and see!!   xx

romper

Super tired… Exhausted even.   So can’t think.   All I can say is how cute is this little Enza Costa jumpsuit? And perfect back with this chic little white blazer. I love it!

Very excited for my baby shower on Saturday however.   It’s a blue theme…   Will post some pics for you!

pretty tones

Wore my fave pair of washed out denim jeans to throw back with soft knitwear and silk pieces for today’s look.    The white leather bag and pumps, I don’t do that everyday!   But it gives a nice feel for in between seasons.

How has your Easter weekend been?   Ours has been lovely.   Very relaxing at our property and heading back to the coast next week.   My baby shower is next weekend so excited for that one.   Will definitely post some pics for you!

Love to all xx
