outfits of the week 28.01.17

You can wear trainers with just about anything these days.   That includes dresses and skirts.   I know this seems like an unlikely match (umm, pretty, frilly creamy orange dress with tough stan trainers?)   Yep, I know… But totally cool and as comfortable as it gets.   Honestly, trainers is the go.

Oh, by the way… this colour really rocks my world right now.   I’ve been in a huge soft pink stage, have you checked out my Instagram feed lately?   However I think I’m just about to head into an orange with camel phase…   Yep, I think that sounds goooood.

Sometimes a girl just gotta wear pink!   I have days where I need to feel pretty.   This means no black.   At all.   OMG!   Sifting through my racks I gravitate towards lush baby pinks and taupes to create a soft look.   I feel rejuvenated on these days.

This Love Shack Fancy dress has me spinning.   In fact, for the up coming season you simply MUST own a pretty floaty dress to pair with boots and a leather jacket.   Need more convincing?   Check out the Chloe 2017 Spring Summer Collection for some inspiration.

Oh, did you notice my hair?   I went back to a more natural brown, it’s just me.   I am so excited to be an Oscar Oscar Ambassador this year, I’m really loving this amazing salon!

I think pussy bows are so delightful.   They are really classic and feminine.   I struggled to think of an outfit t wear this particular day, so by going for my monochromatics, I came up with a very simple but effective outfit.   I worked it around the hero piece with timeless classics like a blazer, black loafers and denim.

On a personal note, I have been so spoilt this weekend.  My husband checked me into the Marriott for two nights to have a break and relax before school goes back.   It’s been so nice to just watch a movie or two, spend some time around the pool, order room service and do some blogging (even though I’m not supposed to be working!).   I had a few Pina Coladas today when he brought the kids over for a swim in the pool this morning.   They were seriously good!   Back to the grind tomorrow!

Love love xx
