four denim styles I wore this month

ripped, rugged and ready

This is an old favourite jean of mine that is getting better over time with its growing knee rips and distressed patches.   It’s on trend with a high waist, freyed hem and is literally a perfect grey tone which works with so many beautiful colour palettes.   How pretty are they with the pink, ivory and black!   I have a few pairs of ripped jeans that I wear season after season and I’ve become really attached to them.   It’s almost like they become a part of your little denim family and every extra rip is like another milestone of quality wear and tear!

high waisted, cropped straight leg, mid blue with a frayed step hem

This jean is super cool covering a few key trends all in one jean.   It’s really comfortable too which is high on my priority list when wearing a casual busy day outfit.   It’s great to wear this style with a fun tee, some trainers and a knit, however extra chic with an epic heel height, deep v cami and a blazer!   The “step hem” is a really strong style point within denim at the moment showcasing various uneven lengths with sharp, frayed or distressed edges.   This jean is becoming a favourite of mine, I wore them again today!

the classic light blue denim skinny

A classic skinny jean is always going to be a favourite denim style for me.   You simply can’t go wrong here and although they’re a safe option,  this style is just freaking awesome and so versatile.   I almost look at a skinny jean like a pair of leggings and love to play with layers over the top through cooler months.    The super stretch and strong recovery make for an epic skinny, I will wear this style forever!    Oh, and not to mention the comfort factor.   Ten out of ten.

Floral Shirt: Joie, Jeans: Frame le Skinny De Jeanne, Velvet Blazer: Hunky Dory, Boots: Pulp (sold out) similar here, Bag: Valentino Lock bag Shoulder bag (sold out) similar here or here, Sunglasses: Prada

flared, frayed, high fashion and high waisted

This gorgeous MIH jean is my directional denim style of the month.   They cover three main denim trends in their own unique way with a modern vintage edge.    With a cropped flare, you’re really stepping up the stakes and the styling options are endless.   Although a trainer or flat shoe looks awesome, try with a super high heel or boot to elongate your leg.   This style really lends itself to the 70’s trend and I feel like styling them with earthy, boho inspired pieces..

With these quality denim brands, the fit and comfort is unrivaled.   There is a reason they call this kind of fabrication quality “premium denim!”
