two ways to wear blue

Take your everyday black and white winter outfit. Skinny jeans, long layer, silk bomber with boots… Throw over a sweet shade and voila! Oh how I love a little colour pop! And how sweet is this baby blue lamb skin leather… It’s easy on the eye and as soft as butter.

Cool colours are really nice to wear. They’re subtle and visually beautiful. Although this tone is just made for neutrals and light tones in my eyes, it clashes really well with a solid black and of course white.

Denim is a fail safe way to incorporate blue into your outfit, it’s such a staple and works with almost any colour palette. As a result of it’s unique indigo dying process, the white and blue cotton thread combination act as a base for many outfits. It can seamlessly work in with many styles and give your look a little kick.

This is such a great weekend outfit. I’ve styled this Free People dress as a top however it’s just magic by itself. Dual purpose items are just so versatile and offer more styling options. A tailored cotton jacket has a casual feel however the sharp shoulders and button details lift it to a new level. I do love a sharp shoulder!

My two blue outfits this week are a bit of alright, me thinks!  xx
