grey denim

three outfits based around this versatile jean staple

My second favourite denim shade (aside from the obvious) is a lovely muted grey colour.   Grey jeans go with just about anything and are a solid base to build an outfit around.   Whether you choose to keep it casual or dress it up, you simply can’t go wrong with this flat and versatile tone.

This outfit is super simple… It was one of those “I don’t have time to think what to wear” mornings.
This is when I go for all grey.
After all, styling an outfit together requires some thought.   What colour goes with this?   What colour goes with that?

By starting off with grey, you are giving yourself a good start.   Adding more monochromatic colours is a winning combination.

Another great accompaniment to grey jeans is neutrals and blue denim… Add some trainers and you’re in business for a stylish street style look.

There is something unquestionably “street style” when wearing this type of look.   The rocky, bitumen like texture of the roadside and moody distressed denim make for the perfect combination.   So totally cool and edgy…

Stepping it up just a notch in some high heel boots, a silk cami and statement jacket.   A nice everyday look that is pretty easy to pull off.

You could wear this outfit through the day time and take it into night for an evening out with friends.   All the pieces are also really versatile and can be mixed and matched with your other wardrobe staples.

All in all, they grey jean is a fail safe option and a great alternative to your everyday blue denim.   I love my grey denims!!!

Lots of love, my friends xx
