Good morning Sydney! What a day for the Katama by Garrett Neff show which was located offsite at the Andrew Boy Charlton Pool, overlooking Woolloomooloo Harbour with a mind blowing backdrop of enormous military ships and perfect blue skies.

I was just so excited to get to my first show in Sydney for MBFWA 2017. We used to sell a lot of the Australian brands for Janine Edwards Boutique so I used to go to the shows many years ago as a buyer, however this was my first year attending as a Blogger. I really wanted to make the most of it and take everything in. Having fun, connecting with like minded people and taking in the first looks of the Resort 18 season was my number one priority.
Adrenalin was running high and I pushed through the pain of three days straight in high heels. It was worth every minute.
I just couldn’t get enough of the amazing views from my inner city hotel room at The Larmont Sydney, located in the exciting hub of Potts Point. I sat and admired the impressive 180 degree view from my corner suite over looking the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge right over to Rushcutter’s Bay and the Eastern Suburbs. Literally minutes to the heart of the CBD, the Oxford Street Paddington shopping strip, sublime restaurants and hole in the wall cafes. It was nice to be central and a part of the inner city vibe and energy of the area.
The table was set beautifully at the A/W 2017 launch at Pacific Fair last week. The gorgeous stores are filling up with all my winter favourites as things cool down and I’m loving every minute of it! I just adore winter, even though living on the Gold Coast gives us endless warm days throughout, there are still plenty of chances to layer up.
I flew to Sydney on Friday to have a little Champagne morning at our store Come As You Are in Paddington, to go through the new deliveries and workshop our winter wardrobes. It was so lovely to meet some of our customers and go through my favourite style options for the coming season.
