Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia was everything I imagined and more! It was so much fun to attend as a Blogger this year, really immerse myself in the week and soak up all the action. My posse and I were all a tad excited and we just had the best time ever!
Events & Eats
We welcomed new and loyal customers with top local stylists to our Denim Workshop at Janine Edwards Boutique Pacific Fair last Thursday for champagne, macaroons and big chats on the latest trend in jeans currently sweeping the fashion world. There is a pivotal shift happening in key silhouettes and we want to keep our customers in the know with exactly what’s happening. Fresh from our premium denim conferences in the US, we are armed with the latest!
Ginger & Smart was definitely one of my favourite shows of the week. The collection was so cohesive, a truly beautiful and complete story from start to finish. Unique textures like sheer mesh, cut out tissue paper like silk circles and striking prints all worked together to create a visually stunning and harmonious offering. OMG it was amazing.
Good morning Sydney! What a day for the Katama by Garrett Neff show which was located offsite at the Andrew Boy Charlton Pool, overlooking Woolloomooloo Harbour with a mind blowing backdrop of enormous military ships and perfect blue skies.
I was just so excited to get to my first show in Sydney for MBFWA 2017. We used to sell a lot of the Australian brands for Janine Edwards Boutique so I used to go to the shows many years ago as a buyer, however this was my first year attending as a Blogger. I really wanted to make the most of it and take everything in. Having fun, connecting with like minded people and taking in the first looks of the Resort 18 season was my number one priority.
Adrenalin was running high and I pushed through the pain of three days straight in high heels. It was worth every minute.
