Getting my hair right has always been a challenge. It’s actually super curly so I’m constantly straightening it, plus my colour has never been spot on. So when I became a 2017 Oscar Oscar Ambassador after winning the Gold Coast Bulletin’s 50 Best Dressed, I was super excited to get it really on the right track.

The table was set beautifully at the A/W 2017 launch at Pacific Fair last week. The gorgeous stores are filling up with all my winter favourites as things cool down and I’m loving every minute of it! I just adore winter, even though living on the Gold Coast gives us endless warm days throughout, there are still plenty of chances to layer up.
Surprise, surprise… We’ve opened up another store! With Edwards Imports and a collection of boutiques in Sydney and Melbourne, you’d think mum would slow down by now…but the girls plant a little seed and the idea takes off! Our latest Janine Edwards dubbed the “legacy store,” is located in the epic new Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Showcasing many of our wholesale brands plus a few more, this boutique encapsulates everything she loves and more. Not to mention the sleek fit out, eclectic furniture, textured floor and walls, which make a perfect backdrop for my endless content creation!
It was so lovely to be a part of the Pacific Fair Autumn Winter 15 presentation and blogger breakfast last month. It was great to meet some of Queensland’s premier fashion bloggers and Sara Donaldson of Harper and Harley. We enjoyed a delightful breakfast, new season fashion and a special perfume masterclass by Samantha Taylor of the Powder Room. We mixed our own potion and created a scent that resinated with us. Super fun!
I’m so excited for Pacific Fair to be completed, it’s under going a complete make over with some amazing stores going in including the major mono brands. Can’t wait! We have decided to keep our Janine Edwards store at Marina Mirage however. It’s such a magnificent shopping precinct and we were one of the first retailers to open there over twenty years ago. That’s pretty special.
