saturday stripes

My favourite day of the week is Saturday.   We take Addie to Ballet, then go for baby chino and do some light grocery shopping at the markets (picking up some fresh flowers of course).   It’s home for lunch and then a lazy afternoon with maybe a walk to the park and a play on the swings.   Perfect day for me (and no hangover!).

Saturday is the day that begins the weekend.   It sets the tone for a casual two days of bliss and this outfit is the perfect way to start it.   My baby blue denim boyfriend jeans are a weekend staple as are stripes, black and white tees, knitwear and accessories.   Saturday is tomorrow…bring it on! xx

billowy knitted sleeves

Kill me now!   I need some special tonic to repair my exhausted body.   It’s all very well trying to be super woman, but reality is that sleep deprivation, being run down and constant sickness runs it’s course.   Not to mention having a baby and a 4 year old to look after.   I’m off to see a naturopath this week.   Okay, enough of the sob story!

On a happier and fashionable note, how about the sleeves on this knitted jumper?   Volume speaks to me and this knit had to be mine.   Leather skinnies, killer heels, an edgy print tied together with a denim jacket around the waist.   This is me all over.

Bye for now and much love, I must go back to bed xx

winter be gone…

It was a few things… The first day of spring being one.   The other was being completely over pasty white legs and living in a semi baby slumber (Jack Bass is 3 months now so time to get it together).   Out came the loafer, fake tan and nail polish.   Those pasty baby days are over and I’m off to a new start.   Summer will be upon us in no time and I’m going to be ready for it… Well, I’m going to try my best!

Okay, okay, these short shorts are rediculous…  But so gorgeous and you can so do it if you stick to a couple of simple rules.   Loose tee or knit over the top is essential to erase any possibility of looking like a 16 year old teenie-bopper.   Polished and tanned legs also a must!

new lengths

It’s a do I or don’t I with the current skirt lengths.   Either way, a mid length skirt must be done at some point…    Just to say you did it : )
For me a baggy, long and loose sweater is always a safe option and paired with some mules and gold hard wear, a casual little outfit is created that is suitable for a workday, a ladies lunch or an evening out.   Boyfie jacket optional…

Love to all! xx
