ulla johnson

Talking personal.   I have so much planned before Christmas, so posting may be a little slow over the next few weeks.   Bare with me!   We just bought a new house (very exciting) so moving and renting out our current house is on the cards.   I’m such a control freak so I’m doing all the photos to rent out this place.   Styling up the house like it’s an instagram flatlay.   Loving it!   Our new home is white and full of light so looking forward to sharing pieces of it with you when we are in.   It’s going to be a busy few weeks.

I’m really looking forward to settling into life next year.   It’s definitely been an adjustment with the two babies but we are finally finding our feet.   I have worked out that time management, organisation and planning is essential for any working mum that wants to have it all.   If your time through the week was split into pieces of a pie, you have your family life, work, friends and some “you” time to divide up.    More on this later, mental planning in progress.

Talking fashion.   We have just received our Ulla Johnson delivery in store, it’s such a beautiful label!  Fringing is all the rage right now and I’m doing a double with this heavenly cardi/poncho and clutch.   I really like this look because the loafers and skinny pants give a polished feel to the slightly dishevelled statement Ulla Johnson piece.   It just feels good to wear and I love anything long so I don’t have to worry about what my butt looks like for the day.   Hehe.

Alrighty then friends, back to organising life xxxx

champagne pink

It was so lovely to be featured on the cover of the Bulletin’s Gold Coast Eye recently.   The newspaper loves smiling faces and colour so this is as best I could do….I don’t smile much in my posts as you would know!

This was the champagne pink piece I was talking about last week and what a beauty it is.   True love for this fluffy number.   The Kardashian Kollection dress fits like a glove with just the right amount of stretch.    Sharp heels and my printed lunchy finish the look, I love these pretty colours.

back to basics

When I left school and started making my way into the fashion world, I would always feel my best in a white tank and some chic black pants (with heels of course).   Very simple but always a solid choice and one that made me feel confident and a little sexy.   Every now and then I go back to basics and wear this chic ensemble to ground myself and solidify my roots.

Two significant statements in this post.   One is the suede fringed clutch.    One must own a fringed piece right now, be it a bag or item of clothing.   Do it now.

The other is this delightful shade of blue which I am crushing hard on right now…(I know it’s in the backdrop but still compliments my outfit, don’t you think?)

Big love xxxx

casual encounters

You know I love my Saturday outfits, well this is one of those.   Casual with a twist.   A textured, printed jacket around my waist is this week’s curve ball.

Seriously though, you know you want to…

These are also the colours that make me feel pretty.   Baby pink, blue denims, creams.   Fresh and leaning towards summer.   It is upon us!

I hope you are all well and sending big love to everyone xx

I know I know, I have issues.   Deep, dark monochromatic issues… Lucky for me, there are bursts of soft colour that come shining through at times and give light to the situation.

Not today however.    Today I chose black, white and grey and these three colours make me the happiest girl in the world.   (Yep, I’m a BWG girl!  We’ve discussed this before).

But guess what?   I have some pink coming your way.   Stay tuned next week for the softest, prettiest, heavenliest pink champagne piece you have ever seen.   Drooling already at the sound of it.

Big love to all xx
