jack’s christening

Just wanted to share some family photos of Jack’s recent Christening and first birthday. It was such a beautiful day filled with love, laughter and most importantly, the family and friends closest to our hearts.

The day started with a beautiful ceremony at The Southport School, followed by lunch at our home.   Thank goodness he slept well before the ceremony so he was in good spirits through the Baptism!

We served beautiful finger sandwiches (smoked salmon with cream cheese, poached chicken and lime mayonnaise, leg ham and chutney) followed by chicken and leek pies with little boats of slow roasted lamb and creamy mash potato.       The cake was a vanilla sponge with butter icing and as you can see, he didn’t know exactly what to do with it at first!

I wore a gorgeous Lover lace dress from our Janine Edwards store and a vintage fur shawl I wore on our wedding day.   Andrew wore a taupe Country Road suit (I think my handsome hubby looked very suave don’t you think?).   Addie wore a Patachou beige lace and satin pleated dress with an ivory and gold Jaquard dress coat.   Jack wore a Little darlings three piece suit with a Petit Bateau cotton knit cardigan (the little tie was so cute!).   Both from The Children’s Salon where I buy all of the children’s special occasion wear.

I hope you enjoyed the photos!   xxxx
