Let’s bring it down to neutral. Let’s bring it back to basics. Let’s bring it to the base line of fashion. Monochrome baby…
If you are ever having one of those days where you can’t decide what to wear and you have limited time to think about it (story of my life) then these neutral, unsaturated tones are your go to palette.
I’ve chosen a great little selection of items from Uniqlo and paired them with quality leather accessories to really catapult this look. I started with a pair of their ultra stretch jeans (USJ) and paired them with this super versatile white shirt dress, which I am equally excited to wear with bare legs through summer. This shirt dress can also be worn open as a jacket for another styling option. A sateen bomber is killer and ties in well with the other black and white, going to get so much wear out of this piece!
My chosen layers to compliment (because that’s what I do!) is a heavenly grey cashmere blend knit and plaid fleece shirt which I totally love. This piece is great to tie around your waist, to your bag or for an extra layer of warmth… I’d say somewhere between the cashmere sweater and the bomber jacket.
All in all, I really love this look and feel these pieces are super versatile together or individually. The colour combination of black, white and grey is everything and these chic wardrobe staples will be on high rotation for seasons to come!
