making a summer dress trans seasonal

wearing key items through the changing weather

summer dress

It’s definitely feeling like summer here on the Gold Coast, it was 30 degrees here the other day!   So I’m starting to have the seasonal wardrobe freak out and thinking what do I have in the way of sandals and dresses!

I love how you can take a spring dress and layer it with knits and denim to keep it trans seasonal.   By simply adding a few key items either over or under a pretty piece like this, you can cozy it up and wear it when it’s cooler!

As an option I would also wear it over some denim jeans.   I would add some cute ankle boots in either a tan or ivory to this look if you need to keep your legs warm.

It’s totally possible to get versatility out of a summer dress by adding your winter essentials to the mix.   By thinking outside the box it will turn into a great layering item.   Just keep the colours aligned and it will work a treat!

summer outfit

Oh by the way, on Sunday I went to one of my best friend’s birthday’s at Glass Restaurant at Marina Mirage, it was such a lovely day.   We sat in the winter sun and drank champagne over a two course lunch.   The marina is so beautiful, it’s been ages since I sat there for an afternoon lunch.

I hope your week is going well my loves!   xx
