Gingham is a really solid trend right now showing up in all the latest collections and in little snippets (or big ones) all over our favourite fashion “it” girls and bloggers, online publications and celebrity style queens. Whether you add a little or a lot, a gingham print can give your outfit a really nice dimension. A simple piece is oh so good, however this fabrication really suits being tied, twisted and volumised. It was literally born to be sculpted and creatively designed by it’s master.
How often do you look at the back of a top or dress and think…”how pretty is the back!?”… Well, I’m here to tell you it’s positively and absolutely acceptable to wear it backwards. Why not? This sweet shirt was so easy to flip around and I was able to wear the buttons down the back to showcase the detailed embroidery at the front.
I think this post really speaks for itself… Don’t you think? Monochrome minimalism all over. Nuff said.
Baby blue chunky knit, baby blue boyfriend jeans and a baby blue Prada clutch. Okay, okay…it’s a baby blue overload.
But I love it!! The knit is my favorite piece to wear at the moment, it’s by Hunky Dory and oozes warmth and quality. Underneath is a crisp white Equipment shirt that peeks out and keeps the wool off my skin. The newest addition to my J Brand wardrobe are the Aiden boyfriend jeans in Meadow wash, they are the perfect shade of blue with just the right amount of rippage ; ) Lastly, I pinched some Prada clutch perfection from mum’s wardrobe (isn’t it adorable?). Marc Jacobs bluebird earrings, aptly named Bluebell and Samuel by my girl. Have a wonderful day all x
