androgony

Slightly androgynous, a tad masculine and chic as hell, the wide leg pant is strong, elegant and demands attention.   Whether you wear them bellowing at the hem with a killer heel or relaxed and bulging over a flat Adidas sneaker, they will always add a theatrical flair to your outfit.

As we wandered the back streets of Brisbane on this perfectly gloomy day, I adjusted to the light and blended in to the monochromatic walls. These colours are my roots and I felt a flashback 10 years ago to when I used to live in outfits like this on a daily basis.   Ah fashion, how I love your cycles.

As for the corset over white shirt, this is always a winner for me.   So simple and effective.   Don’t be afraid, you can do it!

Super simple but relatively effective today in this little ensemble by Equipment Fr and Joie.   I’m constantly chasing a little pop of colour and red stays within the safe boundaries whilst still being a fashion colour.   I love a layer, anything will do.   It will give your outfit a bit more depth so I threw this little Riley tee over the top.   I’m kinda living in these leather Joie shorts, they’re so comfortable and work with so many looks.     The silver rings, earrings and studding on the McQueen heels work well with the metallic grey hardwear on the Chanel Boy.    It’s a nice change from Gold or Silver.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend…much love xx

palazzo style

We did this shoot a while ago for a feature on new fashion blog no one, no more by super talented duo Tane Miering and Joseph Willis of Joseph Willis Photography.    Love working with these two!

We were lucky enough to shoot at Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast for the morning and this Black Halo jumpsuit was the perfect piece to lay across the luxurious day beds and meander through the lush green gardens of the hotel.   I teamed it with a Virginie Castaway blazer and finally used my Valentino Red bow bag in one of my outfit posts!

The heels are Alexander McQueen and my jewellry consists of Michael Kors ring and watch, Nicholas, Vita Fede and Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelets and Colette by Colette Hayman earrings.

Check out Tane and Joseph’s blog, it’s a great read with loads of gorgeous images and endless fashion inspiration!

Bye for now xx

cashmere polkadots

I have so many Equipment shirts (you’ve probably gathered) but they really work with everything and are great for an injection of colour when you are in desperate need for one.  For my take on a preppy look, an Equipment cashmere polkadot knit worn over this tomatoey red signature shirt worked a treat together.  J Brand core was the obvious choice for clean and chic denim.  A Celine bag, Alexander McQueen pumps and Prada sunglasses where my accessories x

a little fit out…

This little outfit was born by wearing a vintage corsette over an Equipment sleeveless shirt.  I tied a denim Free People shirt around the waist of oversized pants and added some Alexander McQueen pumps, a Louis Vuitton clutch and Prada sunglasses.  Fun x
