This look encapsulates my every day style.   Monochromatic colours, dimentional prints and luxurious textures.   All thrown together to create a layered, relaxed look that has a hint of chic to it…

You know I love a layer.   Well here I go again, up to my old tricks again.   I found this fab little Talulah dress and doesn’t it look great all pimped out with the tied up jacket and gilet?   So this vest is another one from the Fifideluxe Archives.   It’s a Rare piece (not made anymore unfortunately) and being military green, it’s made it’s way onto the scene again after many years in hybernation.

I think everything is more exciting when you add layers.   Layer up baby.

flare and fluff

This was a little impromptu shoot we did the other day in between Sydney media showings.   I carried around two furs because I love them both equally and could simply not decide which one to wear!   Oh the joys…

Have been rocking my flares this week prior to Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival next week.   We have been fitting some high profile bloggers so expect to see lots of them at the shows!

Happy days xx

layer cake

You know I love my layers…stripes, knits, denim, leather and all sorts going on today.   I’m a big believer in adding a little knit or a scarf to your outfit (even if it serves no purpose whatsoever).   It will add the colour you need to make your outfit a touch more exciting.   This colour combo is one of my all time favourites.   Grey, black, mahogany, white, taupe backdrop.   Diggin’.

Are you getting ready for Easter?   It’s going to be chocolate filled.

Love to all xx

get your flare on

Well folks, they’re here… and they’re gonna be big.   Might as well get your head around them, because flares are rocking some serious presence in the fashion world.   All the magazines are shooting them, all the celebs are wearing them, but most importantly, they look super chic on.

In know you die hard fashionistas are with me, but I sense some of you out there rolling your eyes as you read.   “I’m too small/short, back to the 70’s, I’m gonna sit this trend out” etc, etc.  But before you judge too quickly, I have some evidence they could be good for you.   UK Women’s Health magazine has just published an article naming the flare “best jeans for shorter legs” that adds inches to your height.   This is due to the fact that when worn with a heel, they scrape the floor-line actually elongating your leg and making them look longer.   True story!

I ask that you at least try a pair on (these J Brand ones are hitting stores soon) just make sure you wear a killer heel.    I want to know the outcomes!

Big love xx
