one dress two ways

So I had this chic little black dress to wear the other day, but could I decide what to wear it with?   Of course not… It was either the grey trench and mules, or the leopard lunchy and ankle boots.

Okay, let’s just call this what it really is…baby brain.

Dress: Virginie Castaway, Black Coat: Hunky Dory, Grey Trench: Transit, Sunglasses: Quay Eyewear, Lunchy Bag: Mode Collective, Three Chain Bag: Stella McCartney, Mules: Balenciaga, Boots: Rag & Bone

pretty tones

Wore my fave pair of washed out denim jeans to throw back with soft knitwear and silk pieces for today’s look.    The white leather bag and pumps, I don’t do that everyday!   But it gives a nice feel for in between seasons.

How has your Easter weekend been?   Ours has been lovely.   Very relaxing at our property and heading back to the coast next week.   My baby shower is next weekend so excited for that one.   Will definitely post some pics for you!

Love to all xx

leopard onyx

So these leopard jeans in onyx came in to the office recently and I knew I needed a pair.   Anything with a pattern, print or texture is ticking boxes for me at the moment as it gives your outfit a nice little boost.   They are also quite subtle, so whilst feeding your leopard obsession, you also manage to blend in a little and not scream “leopard” too loudly.   The beauty of these babies, is that they work super well with monochromatic colours…and equally as good with soft pinks and camels (as above) or even a pop of tomato red would be nice.   The possibilities are endless.

street style

This was a post we shot ages ago featuring the gorgeous sequinned flannie by Free People and I completely forgot about it…anyway better late than never!   It can be worn as a shirt, a jacket or tied around your waist.   The sequins definitely give it a bit of glam.   The Tee underneath is also Free People and the leather pants are by Hunky Dory.   I’ve tied a fab Muubaa leather jacket around my waist and have paired Enrico Antinori heels and my Proenza bag for black leather accents.   Jewellry is simple with Balenciaga and Vita Fede wrists and some Collette hoops.

Are you getting excited for Christmas?   I can’t believe it’s only days away…

freyed edges

A rough-edged, crinkled, buttoned skirt by Freddy the Club is my stand out piece of today’s outfit.   I’m loving a dash of dusty pink lately and worn with soft and neutral tones, allows it to shine.   The cashmere sweater by American Vintage is worn backwards as I was chasing a high neck for this look (it really works to wear tops backwards!).   I think this soft Joie leather jacket and Camilla Skovgaard booties were made for each other, they are such a similar colour and leather quality.   I’ve kept things super simple with Prada sunglasses, Proenza Schouler bag, Balenciaga wrist wrap and Maison Martin Margiela ring.
