puff pastry

There’s something so appealing about wearing volume of this size, the bigger the better in my books.   Proportions like these give you an enormous presence, a certain character and make a real statement.   You simply can’t deny it.

Dresses and skirts worn over pants were big about ten years ago (maybe more).   The look disappeared until recently and is making a slight come back.   I always loved this look, great for those days you want to hide and layers are always a good thing.

This coat reminds me of puff pastry… It’s such a light cotton piece with great height and big sleeves.   It’s quite malleable and easy to work as I have done with the double wrap belt and kind of puffed it out a bit.   I kind of feel like a gladiator about to take off, however.   Which isn’t a bad thing!

Oh, and excuse me while I delve into a pit of grey and navy at the moment, might need to add some more colour to my life this week.  That’s the plan!

Love you all xx

champagne pink

It was so lovely to be featured on the cover of the Bulletin’s Gold Coast Eye recently.   The newspaper loves smiling faces and colour so this is as best I could do….I don’t smile much in my posts as you would know!

This was the champagne pink piece I was talking about last week and what a beauty it is.   True love for this fluffy number.   The Kardashian Kollection dress fits like a glove with just the right amount of stretch.    Sharp heels and my printed lunchy finish the look, I love these pretty colours.

pretty tones

Wore my fave pair of washed out denim jeans to throw back with soft knitwear and silk pieces for today’s look.    The white leather bag and pumps, I don’t do that everyday!   But it gives a nice feel for in between seasons.

How has your Easter weekend been?   Ours has been lovely.   Very relaxing at our property and heading back to the coast next week.   My baby shower is next weekend so excited for that one.   Will definitely post some pics for you!

Love to all xx

kicks…

Kicks baby.   Love em’ or hate em’, one thing’s for sure…they’re the most comfortable shoe you will ever wear.   Even better, the ability to dress these chic little sneakers casual or back with high fashion, makes their versatility undeniable.   Personally I love them with a wide leg pant suit, but I must admit height would have to be on your side.   Either way, you can’t go wrong with a clean pair of optic white Adidas sneakers this season (3 stripe options variable and available for your personal choice).   In fact, they’re a must.  xx
