a touch of mustard

Had one of those moments where mustard was calling me.   Of all the ochres, camels, dark browns, tans and bricks coming through, this mohair knit had my name on it and simply had to be worn for my next outfit post.

The other trend that’s big at the moment is suede (often cut into fringed tassels but not today).   I simply can’t cope with the luxury of these epic patchwork pants.   If there was ever an indulgence, it would be suede pants.   They are definitely heaven to wear but really only for special occasions.   Since laundering is virtually non existent.   Think folding them in a plastic bag and letting them sit in the freezer for the day.   Not kidding.

Have a wonderful week all xxxx

simple pleasures

There is nothing more simple and effective than a white shirt and blue denim jeans.   If you ever need to have a “rest day” from the endless fashion choices we have each day, stick to the “simple pleasures”.   These were some shots we took a while back and I love this look.   The shirt is by Equipment and the jeans are J Brand boy fit in Heartbreaker.  They are the most comfortable jean with a higher rise and I’m getting lots of wear out of them this season.    I’ve thrown this Joie jacket over my shoulders and paired it with Jerome Dreyfuss shoulder bag and Marni shoes.   Prada sunglasses, Jennifer Zeuner necklace, Michael Kors watch and Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet are my accessories for the day.

The jeans are available in store and on fifiluxe and the Jerome Dreyfuss bag is available from the Janine Edwards Boutique.

Sending love to you all xx

polka-dots and a colour pop

Well, back from North Stradbroke Island with the family and back to reality.   Our office has just reopened and is full of new deliveries ready to go out to all the stores.   Kindy goes back next week so looking forward to that too, even though it’s been nice to have the little one around on a daily basis.   I’m excited for 2014 and always feel motivated and inspired at the beginning of a new year.   I hope you do too!

Was chasing a pop of colour this particular day and these J Brand Carey jeans did the job perfectly.   Teamed with this sweet little polka-dot Riley tee by Equipment and Jerome Dreyfuss satchel, I felt a million dollars!   The gold studded boots by Nickolas Kirkwood are the best height and very comfortable.   The jacket by Virginie Castaway doubles well as a light cape to drape over your shoulders.   Celine sunglasses in nude, Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelets and Collette by Colette Hayman hoops are my accessories.

Big love xx

plaid perfect

Quick one today… Picked this cute little skirt up from Zara recently as the plaid obsession continues.   The injection of colour is just enough to lift my outfit and adds a playful note.   My tee is by BCBG Max Azria and has a nice shoulder detail.   This leather jacket by Hunky Dory is a solid piece with weight, depth and structure.   I have added black accents as shown in my leather lace ups, chanel bag and Prada sunglasses.   Gold trimmings are linked into the chain strap with Marc by Marc Jacobs earrings and Michael Kors watch.

photo ready

Introducing Photo Ready denim by J Brand.   It really does keep everything in tightly to allow for confidence and comfort.   Teamed with a gorgeous Joie top – one side printed silk, the other a light knit and Alice & Olivia cropped jacket makes for a demure and sweet look.   Shoes are Oscar De La Renta, Saint Laurent patent leather clutch, Marc by Marc Jacobs chain necklace, Michael Kors watch at Rachel Zoe ring.
