odd molly is a brand I love

I love Odd Molly. It’s a Swedish brand we have been importing into Australia for over 10 years now and it holds a special place in our hearts. I used to sell the collections every season in our Edwards Imports Sydney showroom when I was working in our wholesale department. It’s so totally unique and each piece really has a point of difference.

The colours in this Odd Molly knit are everything. Grey, chalk, charcoal and an unsaturated peachy tone which I simply adore. Add a putty, buttery soft leather jacket with black denim and this pretty much does it for me! Simple and effective, a perfect street-style outfit that can be worn just about anywhere.

flare and fluff

This was a little impromptu shoot we did the other day in between Sydney media showings.   I carried around two furs because I love them both equally and could simply not decide which one to wear!   Oh the joys…

Have been rocking my flares this week prior to Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival next week.   We have been fitting some high profile bloggers so expect to see lots of them at the shows!

Happy days xx

three elements

One thing I’ve learnt since starting my own fashion blog, is the importance of balancing colour, prints and texture in to my looks.   I have always really done this, but by planning outfit posts and editing the photos, I have become savvy to what is appealing to the eye… In similar words, I’m learning what I like to see.

When I flick through the racks of clothing I am blessed to have access to, I try and factor in these three elements which give depth and a little something to your get up.   Here I’m wearing a vibrant neon orange shirt under a gloriously thick and bulky cable knit.   The little flashes of mauve from the lining of this textural coat work beautifully with the leopard print clutch and simple nude heels balance the colour, print and texture well to my liking.   It’s a little ice-cream-candy looking (with sprinkles in top) but really…how delicious!

Yes, I like what I see.  xx
