a little lace

The bump is well and truly out now, there’s no hiding it!Β  So as my new line goes… excuse the belly : )

Something a bit sexy about having a cheeky bit of lace peeking through, whether it’s a hemline or neckline… Over-sized and loose around the middle tops are a staple with pregnancy and this little Joie number is perfect for now.Β Β  I dragged out the Stuart Weitzman thigh highs (these will be staying with me for a lifetime) and thrown an over-sized coat in the mix for today’s look.

Love to all xx

chunky knit & thigh highs

Lately I’ve been wanting to wear big chunky knits as dresses with my Stuart Weitzman thigh high boots.Β Β  There’s something a bit sexy about wearing an over-sized knit and nothing much else.Β Β  This piece is seriously special, designed by one of the first labels mum brought in to the country. Β  In her day, English designer Sara Sturgeon was huge (she stopped designing many years ago) and I have many pieces stored carefully in the wardrobe.Β  One year when I was fresh out of school, I worked in Paris on the stand at the Pret-a-Porter and in the Sara Sturgeon showroom in London.Β Β  It certainly was an amazing experience for a teenager and I learned so much about the industry.

I picked up this Dolce & Gabbana pony hair bag in New York as I desperately needed another leopard piece in my wardrobe (like a hole in the head ; )Β Β  The Celine sunglasses have a gold bar across the top so to tie in I’ve added a gold statement ring and hoops from Collette.
