androgony

Slightly androgynous, a tad masculine and chic as hell, the wide leg pant is strong, elegant and demands attention.   Whether you wear them bellowing at the hem with a killer heel or relaxed and bulging over a flat Adidas sneaker, they will always add a theatrical flair to your outfit.

As we wandered the back streets of Brisbane on this perfectly gloomy day, I adjusted to the light and blended in to the monochromatic walls. These colours are my roots and I felt a flashback 10 years ago to when I used to live in outfits like this on a daily basis.   Ah fashion, how I love your cycles.

As for the corset over white shirt, this is always a winner for me.   So simple and effective.   Don’t be afraid, you can do it!

monocromatic

All the colours of my ideal rainbow in today’s post.   To start, I’m wearing a back detailed Virginie Castaway blouse with a Winston Wolfe leather skirt.  The heavy duty Rare belt picks up the silver hard wear of this spunky little jacket and Proenza Schouler shoulder bag.   Camilla Skovgaard shoes are becoming a favourite, these booties are heaven to wear and the colour is so versatile.   I’ve added my Michael Korrs watch, Asos shades and some orange OPI nail colour.   Okay, so add the orange to my rainbow : )

hey winston!

I’m totally crushing on blue right now, which is very unusual for me!  I found this cool sparkly blueish wall in Broadbeach and jumped on it.  It was the perfect backdrop for my OOTD!  I tucked a soft lilac American Vintage knit sweater into a Winston Wolfe leather skirt and kept the accessories simple.  The heels are a Madonna collaboration with Pulp (I can see her rocking these) Marc by Marc Jacobs watch and vintage bag.  Mwah x
